Turn workplace
into degree credit

Accredit learning wherever it happens.

StudyTrack runs in the background while employees learn through work and study. It captures learning sessions and converts them into ECTS credits toward Woolf master's degrees in technology and business, including the MS in AI, MBA, and MS in CS.

How It Works

Three steps from learning to credit. No manual logging required.

1

Learn

Employees browse articles, watch lectures, read research papers, and write code. They study the way they already do โ€” from sources like MIT Technology Review, Harvard Business Review, arXiv, and more.

2

Track

StudyTrack runs quietly in the menu bar. Every 60 seconds, it captures what employees are studying from supported apps and trusted sources. Social media and email are automatically excluded.

3

Earn

AI analyzes each employee's learning and produces daily digests. After 25 hours of verified study, they earn 1 ECTS credit via Recognized Prior Learning โ€” automatically matched to degree courses.

System Tray

Always on, never in the way

StudyTrack lives in the menu bar. A small icon shows whether tracking is active โ€” green means on, red means paused. Employees click it to access quick actions: open the app, check for updates, or toggle tracking. It stays out of the way while they focus on learning.

Available on both macOS and Windows, adapting to the system's light or dark theme.

Daily Digest

AI-powered learning summaries

At the end of each day, AI analyzes captured study sessions and produces a structured summary. It identifies learning domains, groups related activities into events, and records the tools and sources used.

Each digest includes natural-language summaries from study or projects, and a timeline of learning events โ€” so employees can see exactly what they studied and for how long.

Credit Milestones

25 hours = 1 ECTS credit

Once an employee accumulates 25 hours of verified learning, StudyTrack generates a credit milestone report. AI matches learning evidence to specific course Intended Learning Outcomes at EQF Level 7, producing a formal Recognized Prior Learning for Credit (RPLFC) submission.

Each milestone includes a narrative description, the apps used, key photos, and the daily summaries that contributed โ€” creating a transparent evidence trail for academic quality assurance.

For Employees

Whether employees are already enrolled or about to start, their independent learning counts.

Employees already enrolled

Employees already enrolled in a Woolf degree program can use earned credit milestones to exempt degree credits. StudyTrack matches independent learning to specific courses and ILOs, so credits earned through study count directly toward degree progress.

Coming Soon

Employees starting soon

Employees starting their degree soon can begin learning now and earn Recognized Prior Learning for Credit (RPLFC). Study sessions are documented, verified by AI, and formally submitted โ€” so they hit the ground running when their program begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about StudyTrack.

How does our organization get started?

Contact our partnerships team to set up your organization. Once active, employees download StudyTrack for macOS or Windows and sign in with their Woolf account. The app handles everything from there โ€” official academic records update as employees earn credits.

Do employees need to be enrolled first?

StudyTrack is currently available to employees enrolled in a Woolf degree program. If your organization would like to enroll employees or explore early access, contact us at studytrack@woolf.education.

How are credits calculated?

One ECTS credit equals 25 hours (1,500 minutes) of verified learning. StudyTrack aggregates daily summaries until this threshold is reached, then generates a credit milestone report that recognizes learning for credit when evidence is matched to specific course ILOs.

How do credit exemptions work?

Credits earned through StudyTrack are applied as exemptions in the degree's second tier of courses. Once an employee has earned enough exemptions โ€” typically five โ€” they can skip one course in that tier. One credit on its own won't remove a course, but each one counts toward that goal.

What activities are tracked?

StudyTrack captures learning activities from supported apps and trusted sources โ€” browsing research material, writing code, reading documents, and working in office tools. Social media, email, messaging, and LMS platforms are automatically excluded โ€” only activities that reflect genuine independent study are tracked.

Does it work on Windows and Macs?

Yes. StudyTrack runs on both macOS and Windows. The app uses platform-native integrations on each OS โ€” including system tray icons, accessibility APIs, and screen capture for key learning photos โ€” the same tracking experience on both platforms.

What degree programs are supported?

StudyTrack currently supports employees enrolled in or applying to any of Woolf's master's degrees in technology or business, including the MS in AI, MBA, and MS in CS. Learning evidence is matched to the program's Intended Learning Outcomes at EQF Level 7.

How is employee data handled?

Woolf manages millions of records for students. Activity records are captured and stored locally on the employee's device. They are uploaded securely for AI analysis, which deletes irrelevant content and produces daily summaries and credit milestone reports. Employee data is used solely for learning verification โ€” it is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
