What is Woolf Labs
Woolf Labs is a research and technology organization dedicated to advancing the mission of Woolf University and other accredited Woolf HEIs, including Woolf in Malta and Woolf in Switzerland.
Three parties, one standard
Woolf Labs
Woolf Labs provides the technology platform, academic support, and quality assurance infrastructure behind every Woolf program. It does not grant degrees.
The Woolf HEIs
Accredited Woolf higher education institutions, including Woolf in Malta and Woolf in Switzerland, create the colleges and hold the degree-granting authority. Every award is theirs.
Sponsors
Sponsors sign a Master Sponsorship Agreement with Woolf Labs and are nominated to an HEI, which creates a new college they sponsor — proposing its name, dean, and faculty, and recruiting students.
Separate by design. Labs builds the technology; the HEIs award the degrees.
Degree-granting authority is regulated for a reason. Woolf keeps the technology and the academic authority deliberately apart: Woolf Labs operates the platform, performs more than a million quality validations a month, and manages records and credit issuance, while the accredited Woolf HEIs review and award every degree.
That separation is what makes a Woolf credential worth holding. No award is issued on convenience. Every one is earned against the same standard, wherever the learning happened.
